Fan Frenzy hits Vancouver for the 2011 Grey CupEach of Tenzing’s Pics2Web campaigns is unique and specifically catered to optimize the customer experience and help brand the client image. In the days leading up to the Grey Cup, the TSN “Fan Zone” booth gave CFL fans the opportunity to have their picture taken with one of several notable CFL alumni and TSN sportscasters, including Michael Landsberg, Chris Cuthbert, Darren Dutchyshen, and former CFL quarterback Matt Dunigan. The authentic replica of the TSN broadcast desk was the perfect backdrop for fans to get instant photos from their experience. This year, Tenzing set up instant access for fans to retrieve their photos via smartphone. ChallengesIn order to accommodate large numbers of fans over the Grey Cup weekend, timeliness and efficiency were tantamount to the success of the project; Tenzing provided the green screen and Pics2Web technology and this year fans were able to get instant access to their photos. Once they had their PIN number registered and photo taken, fans simply went to the “Fan Zone” website to download their photo and access it in order to share on Facebook. Campaign Results and FactsThe TSN “Fan Zone” booth continues to be a huge success, as expectations were reached and surpassed. Grey Cup spectators are always very responsive to the TSN “Fan Zone” experience, with the opportunity to have their photo taken with celebrities and athletes. Facts about the event:
