Case Study: FCIB Pics2Web Project

Project Overview

This program was launched to help FCIB promote their services to University of West Indies (UWI) students. Services offered to students included student Visas, student loans, and lines of credit. Students applying for these services automatically registered them in contests to win ipods, blackberrys, and kindles. Further to this, the Pics2Web green screen photo campaigns were set up at various locations to further awareness and branding for FCIB marketing launch.

The Plan: International Pics2Web Program

Pics2Web™ operated in 9 Caribbean countries. The program was a resounding success, as FCIB extended their contract with Tenzing in order to continue promoting their services with Pics2Web technology. Client click-through rate has been high and early projections show that the young student demographic has embraced this marketing scheme. The popularity of the prize giveaway, combined with the interest in pictures and Pics2Web, has proven the high rate of potential success in young target markets. Web savvy and avid smartphone users have made the project run seamlessly, as younger generations are apt to this type of new marketing.

The Market

The project scope is set to include the Pics2Web program in a total of nine Caribbean countries. Further expansion is planned and FCIB will continue to engage their audience through online initiatives and against-the-grain projects.

The Outcome

Currently, the client, FCIB, continues to expand their market and explore new avenues to promote their services, in part through the expansion of Tenzing’s Pics2Web services.
